Lung Shing has been active in the local music scene for years. His extensive live performance experiences have been one of the essential parts that made him a better drummer, a more all-round musician.

Apart from live performances, Lung Shing’s studio works also demonstrated his musical playing and his unique approaches to drumming. Lung took part in several music projects and his playing can be found in numerous records.

Being able to learn from world renowned drummers such as Benny Greb has lifted Lung’s playing to another level. Lung was also one of the few drummers who were personally selected by Chris Dave (Drummer of Adele, D’Angelo, Anderson Paak, Robert Glasper, and many more) in a world-wide drum event in 2020. To perfect his craft even more, he has been studying with UK sensation Richard Spaven (Rock School Drum Exam Grade 7 Song “The Law” Composer & Drummer).

When speaking in teaching terms, with over 3,000 lessons and more than 200,000 minutes of lesson time experience under his belt, he is known for his precise observation and insightful feedback, Lung Shing has been a key influence to some of the young emerging local drummers. The dedication on fundamental building and musical playing is often appreciated among students and parents.
